Red Sox(slave)Nation???

I couldn’t help but laugh after hearing that the Red Sox coaches were not to be paid for their trip to Japan. After what can only be called a strike by the Red Sox players today (it caused a delay in their spring training game) an agreement was finally reached. I thank God that we have players like A-Rod who would never resort to desperate measures in order to get leverage in a negotiation.

Strange baseball stats 2007

Ozzie Guillen used 5 different pitchers in a span of 5 pitches.

Ryan Howard went 20 straight PA’s without hitting a ball onto the field(2hr’s, 5 bb’s, 13k’s).

Between July 1st and July 21st the Angels did not hit a single HR.

In April, Josh Hamilton(only 50 ab’s in previous 4 seasons) hit twice the amount of HR’s than the entire Yankees outfield. Final score: 6-3.

Finally, Yankee bullpen hopeful Edwar Ramirez had an outing on July 20th where he threw 19 pitches. 17 were balls, 1 of the other 2 was hit for a grand slam by former Yankee prospect Dioner Navarro.

The official site has released the unsurprising story that Joba Chamberlain will begin the season in the bullpen. While many conceive it to be a wise move, i can’t help but think that keeping Joba in the dark for so long over his role was not the best course of action.
